Partner Universities

As IKMZ student, you can choose from 100 partner universities in 35 different countries worldwide.
In the search portal you will find the partner universities that are available for you to choose from. Select "Kommunikationswissenschaft und Medienforschung" as the field of study, also in the case of "Strategische Kommunikation & Management", "Politische Kommunikation & Governance" and "Internet & Society". Then select your study level.

You will now see an overview of our partner universities. If you click on the agreement icon and then on the information icon, you can see how many places are available and at which level the contract was concluded (UZH = university-wide or IKMZ = subject-specific agreement).

If you want to study at another university, you can go abroad self-organized. In that case we talk about a stay abroad instead of an exchange. Clarify as soon as possible with the university of your choice whether they accept so-called "free-movers" and if you pay semester fees. In this case you do not need to apply for an exchange place at UZH. However, you will still need a credit recognition agreement for the transfer of credits obtained abroad. SeeCredit Recognition.
