If you study at a partner university abroad or in Switzerland, you remain enrolled at UZH and pay the UZH semester fees. You do not pay semester fees at the partner university. You will usually also receive a scholarship. Check with the partner university regarding accommodation. How much you spend abroad depends mainly on the travel fees & accommodation, but also how you organize yourself regarding food and excursions. The partner university may be able to make an estimation.

If you apply for a university within the Swiss-European Mobility Programme, you automatically apply for a SEMP scholarship. However, there are various other scholarships available to financially support the exchange semester, such as the SEMP Goes Worldwide scholarship, Strategic scholarship, Inclusive scholarship, etc. See below for more information.
