The research group “Strategic Communication & Media Management” encompasses two main research areas: In the field of strategic communication, we investigate the purposeful use of communication by organizations (and other entities) to engage with various stakeholders for the lasting benefit and sustainable success of the organization and society at large. In the field of media management, we research innovative and sustainable business models of media enterprises as well as new developments in the media and journalism sector that influence diverse media content planning, creation, distribution and reception.
