03.03.2021SciPop Scale included in 21st survey wave of Austrian Corona Panel Project

The March 2021 survey of the Austrian Corona Panel Project will contain the “SciPop Scale”, an 8-item survey scale that measures people’s support for science-related populism and was developed by Niels G. Mede, Mike S. Schäfer, and Tobias Füchslin. A proposal to include the scale in the questionnaire was submitted by a team of Jakob-Moritz Eberl (U of Vienna), Robert Huber (U of Salzburg), Esther Greussing (TU Brunswick), and Niels Mede (IKMZ), and has recently been accepted by the project committee. The Austrian Corona Panel Project is an ongoing online panel survey of the Austrian population. It investigates public attitudes, perceptions, and behaviors during the COVID-19 pandemic and is currently funded by the Austrian Science Fund FWF.
