Niels Mede has been invited to serve on the ORCID Researcher Advisory Council (ORAC) for a two-year term. As an ORAC member, he will contribute perspective and advice to the future development of ORCID, a global not-for-profit organization that seeks to enable a transparent, trustworthy, and inclusive science – for example with the ORCID iD. Together with 18 fellow researchers from various disciplines, countries, and career levels, he will advise the ORCID Board and staff on matters such as ORCID’s policy and strategy, usability of the ORCID registry, communication and outreach to the scholarly community, and the use of ORCID data in meta research.
