Viktoria Cologna joined the Science Communication division at IKMZ in February 2024 as a Postdoctoral Researcher. Previously, she was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University, the Leibniz University Hannover, and ETH Zurich. She has a PhD in environmental psychology from ETH Zurich. Broadly, her research interests include public trust in science, the science-policy interface, and climate change mitigation. Specifically, she is interested in how trust in science and political engagement of scientists affect behavioral responses to climate change. Her other research interests include climate change communication and how mediated and direct experience of extreme weather events affect societal responses to climate change.
We warmly welcome Viktoria Cologna as a new member of the IKMZ team!
