11.03.2025IKMZ welcomes Prof. Dr. Anne Schulz

Since March 1, 2025, Anne Schulz is IKMZ’s Assistant Professor with Tenure Track for Political Communication. Anne has been a member of IKMZ before, having completed both her Master's and PhD degrees in Communication Science at the department between 2011 and 2019. After a postdoctoral stay at the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism at the University of Oxford, she returned to IKMZ as a Senior Research and Teaching Associate in 2021.

Anne and her team at IKMZ will focus on News Use, Political Participation and Populism, partly under the umbrella of a prestigious SNSF Starting Grant for her project "Sustainable News Use" that was awarded to her by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF).
