In a recent interview with Radio SRF, Mike Schäfer discusses the importance of science journalism. He argues that we need it: "Science journalism is important because scientific knowledge forms the basis of many decisions all of us as humans, organizations and even societies as a whole need to make." And while he thinks that science journalism is in a comparably good situation in Switzerland, we foresees threats for science journalism in the future.
