How to write a master thesis in our division:
We supervise master theses in several international and comparative topics like journalism & news, political communication, and media systems & media culture. You may find some inspiration on our research or current projects pages.

Preliminary discussion (Vorbesprechung) for master thesis
In the preliminary discussion, we circulate all relevant information and give you the opportunity to ask questions. To write a master thesis in our division, please register for the obligatory preliminary discussion (Vorbesprechung) by writing an e-mail to Christian Pipal (c.pipal@ikmz.uzh.ch). The dates for the preliminary discussion (Vorbesprechung) are communicated via the IKMZ mailing list and take place at the end of each semester (May or December).

If you are interested in writing your master thesis in our division, you can contact the colloquium coordinator, Christian Pipal (c.pipal@ikmz.uzh.ch), to schedule a first meeting and discuss your first research ideas (see document Ideenskizze). You find further information and requirements here:
