Camille Nchakga
Camille Nchakga joined the Strategic Communication & Media Management division at IKMZ as a Research and Teaching Assistant in December 2024. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication and Media Research and later obtained her master’s degree in Strategic Communication and Management from the University of Zurich. From 2020 to November 2024, she was a Student Research Assistant at the Research Center for the Public Sphere and Society (fög). Her research interests involve the use of artificial intelligence in crisis communication and computational methods.

Amanda Zambito
Amanda Zambito joined IKMZ’s Internet Use & Society division as a Research and Teaching Assistant in February 2025. In 2024, she completed her master’s degree in Internet &  Society at IKMZ. Building on her master’s thesis work, Amanda’s research explores the digital inclusion of older adults, focusing on the interplay between their digital media use and social support. Before joining UZH, she worked in marketing and bid management after earning a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Psychology from New York University.

Jasmin Dall'Agnola
Jasmin Dall’Agnola joined the Media & Internet Governance division at IKMZ in February 2025 as a Senior Research and Teaching Associate. Prior to that she was a postdoctoral researcher at ETH Zurich (2024–2025), the George Washington University (2023) and the OSCE Academy in Bishkek (2022). She holds a PhD in Political Science from Oxford Brookes University. Her research and teaching interests focus on how governments and tech corporations leverage smart and Internet technologies for mass surveillance in both democratic and authoritarian societies.
Her forthcoming book, Smart Cities in Central Asia: Digital Dreams and Authoritarian Realities (under peer-review with Bristol University Press), offers a compelling ethnographic account of how Internet and smart technologies shape daily life and governance in authoritarian contexts. In recognition of her contributions to the study of authoritarian smart cities, she has received several awards from the Swiss National Science Foundation, including an SNSF Postdoc.Mobility Fellowship (Grant number: 202939, 2021–2023) and an SNSF Return CH Postdoc.Mobility Fellowship (Grant number: 222076, 2024–2025).

Sina Horner
Sina Horner joined the Media Use & Effects division at IKMZ as a Research and Teaching Assistant in February 2025. Previously she obtained her Master's in Strategic Communication and Management, also at IKMZ. Her research explores the intersection of social media and well-being, with particular emphasis on self-optimization content. Her work examines how young people encounter and engage with different forms of performance-enhancement and lifestyle content across digital platforms.
