OLAT

OLAT (Online Learning and Training) is the University of Zurich’s learning management system. All IKMZ courses use OLAT. Learning materials are made available on OLAT to students and collaborative forms of learning and communication are supported there.

To log in to OLAT, members of the University of Zurich need the access data of their SWITCH edu-ID account. If you do not have a SWITCH edu-ID, you have to open an account and link the University of Zurich to the SWITCH edu-ID. Instructions

New students need to register when first trying to log-in:

1. Open the OLAT homepage.
2. Select "University of Zurich" in the menu and click on “Login”.

3. You will be redirected to the SWITCH edu-ID login page. After a successful login you will be redirected back to the OLAT registration page.

4. Select the desired language, choose a user name (lower case letters only) and accept the terms of use.

If you sign up for courses using module booking, you will be automatically entered into the corresponding campus courses on OLAT. Direct links to the campus courses of courses that you have booked can be found under “Courses” in the Tab "Active".
